Our Story

RoboVacDepot was founded in 2024 in Brooklyn, New York, after our founder bought a robot vacuum on a whim to keep up with a golden retriever — and discovered how hard it was to find clear advice on which model, filter or brush actually fit. We're a small, independent US online retailer focused on one thing: floor-cleaning robots and the parts that keep them running. We are not affiliated with or authorized by iRobot Corporation. Every order ships free within the United States, and real people answer your questions Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm ET.

It started with a golden retriever and a very tired vacuum.

Like a lot of people, our founder bought a robot vacuum on a whim, expecting a gimmick. Two weeks later the dog hair was gone, the daily "who's vacuuming?" argument was over, and the question changed from "does this thing work?" to "why did we wait so long?"

The frustrating part came next: finding the right replacement filter, figuring out which mop pads fit which model, and reading a dozen confusing listings just to compare two robots. Big marketplaces treated robot vacuums like any other box on a shelf. Nobody was explaining anything.

So we built the store we wanted to shop at

RoboVacDepot launched with a simple rule: only sell what we'd put in our own homes, and explain it the way we'd explain it to a friend. Every product page tells you what's in the box, which robots a part fits, and what the real trade-offs are. Every order ships free in the US with tracking. Every email gets a real answer.

Where we are today

We've grown from a handful of models to a full range of vacuums, vacuum-and-mop combos and hard-floor cleaners, plus the bags, filters, brushes and pads that keep them at their best. What hasn't changed is the reason we exist: a home that stays clean without you thinking about it.
